Working with HR&A Advisors and Parsons Brinkerhoff Greenberg Consultants is collaborating on a planning study of the former 69 acre Gates Rubber Plant site at the Broadway Junction in Denver. While it has significant environmental challenges this site is one of the city’s highest priority Transit-Oriented Development sites. The goal is to provide an urban design and planning perspective contributing to the understanding and strategic recommendations re relationships to context and surrounding uses, local circulation, built and natural features, massing, site organization, streets blocks place, place-making and combination of uses within the project. This involves an iterative integrated process of work with the multi-disciplinary team in preparing and evaluating options for the site.
