Greenberg Consultants is working with Educational Consulting Serviceson a Campus Development Plan for Humber College’s North campus in Etobicoke to accommodate anticipated growth of academic programs including joint facilities with Guelph University. A particular focus is the planning for the arrival of light rapid transit (LRT) service with a station on the Finch Avenue LRT line in conjunction with Metrolinx and TTC, a significant and welcome addition to an already bustling and vibrant location currently used every week by well over 25,000 students, clients and staff. The placement of this LRT terminus at the northeastern corner of the property must be carefully planned and executed to protect for the creation and successful functioning of an academic and mixed-use hub at this strategic location.
